Plans and what they limit

What the Free plan allows, what Studio removes, and what happens when you reach a limit.

Updated

This page is the short version of the plan matrix: which four things are limited, and which plan lifts each limit.

There are two plans. Free is a working shop with four limits on it, not a trial — it does not expire. Studio removes those four limits and is billed monthly. Everything else in the product, from booking to point of sale to client records, is in both plans; the difference is capacity, not features.

  1. Open the pricing page to see the comparison before you choose.
  2. Check the four limited things against your business: staff members, bookings per month, products, and locations.
  3. Select Create your shop and complete signup on the plan you want.
  4. If you start on Free and outgrow it, the plan is changed on the subscription rather than by creating a second shop — a second shop would have a separate client list and a separate storefront.
  5. If a limit is reached, the screen that hit it is where you will notice. Bookings stop accepting new ones for the month, and staff or products cannot be added.
Staff members
Free allows 1. Studio has no limit.
Bookings a month
Free allows 50. Studio has no limit.
Products
Free allows 20. Studio has no limit.
Locations
Free allows 1. Studio has no limit.

The bookings limit is the one that catches people out, because it is the only limit that fills up on its own. If you expect a busy month — a season, a campaign, a holiday — move to Studio before it starts rather than during it, when the shop has already stopped accepting bookings.

Staff members are counted as people who take appointments or sign in, not as seats you can share. A shop with two stylists and one manager who also books is a three-staff shop, and a plan that counts two will stop the third from being added.

Vendzi takes no share of your sales. Payments settle into your own provider account, so the plan price is the whole cost of the platform — there is no per-transaction fee on top of it.
