Effective

The short version

Vendzi is a platform for appointment businesses. When you run a shop on Vendzi, two kinds of data exist: the data about you and your shop, and the data your shop collects about its own clients. This page covers both, plainly.

Each shop’s data is isolated from every other shop’s, and that isolation is enforced in the database itself rather than only in the application. Your clients’ card payments are processed by the payment provider your shop connects — Vendzi does not hold funds and does not receive full card numbers.

What we collect

If you register a shop: the name, email address and account details you provide at signup, plus your subscription and billing status.

If you operate a shop: the content you and your staff create in it — services, staff, hours, products, pages, bookings, orders and client records. This data is stored for your shop and is not shared with other shops.

If you visit a shop’s public pages or book with a Vendzi shop: the data you submit to that shop (for example, your name, contact details and booking request) is handled by that shop as the business you booked with. Technical logs needed to run and secure the service are also generated.

Who is responsible for what

A shop operating on Vendzi decides what client data it collects and why; it is the business its clients interacted with, and its own privacy policy governs that relationship. Vendzi processes shop data on the shop’s behalf in order to provide the service.

Payments

Card and PayPal payments are processed by the payment providers each shop connects, through those providers’ own onboarding and under their terms. Vendzi records what happened — for example that a payment succeeded or was refunded — but does not hold funds and does not store full card numbers.

Where data lives

Vendzi runs on managed cloud services. Shop data is stored with per-shop isolation enforced at the database level, and the service is operated with automatic backups.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the infrastructure and service providers needed to operate the platform, and with the payment providers shops themselves connect.

Your choices and contact

Shop owners can manage their shop’s data from its dashboard, export the public data sets while the shop is active, and cancel the subscription — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. To ask anything about this policy or your data, contact us via the signup page and we will route it to the right person.
